This was meant to post months ago! This is a huge empties lot. Here we go!
SOFINA Beauté Whitening Day Protector SPF50 PA++++ (Moist)
My favourite sunscreen for face. Moisturising, lightweight and does not cause me breakout. The consistency of the product is liquidly, easy to apply. It does leave a white cast on skin right after application but the white cast is less noticeable after a while. This does not finish off as matte, it leaves a slight oily dewy finish. The downside is that it’s not available in Singapore (Kanebo! You heard that!?). I have to stock up whenever I go to countries where they are sold.
Pantene Pro-V Pure Collection Aqua Pure Shampoo
No silicone, dye and paraben. Need I say more? I very much prefer my shampoos are silicone-free because silicone generally make my hair feels sticky and (more) fizzy after prolong usage.
Bio-essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask

balance Me Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm
This apparently can be used to remove makeup and to cleanse face too. Packed with anti-oxidants and fine oats powder to sooth, smooth and boost skin radiance. First, the product itself is great, it does deliver what it claims – to cleanse and boost skin radiance. However, the micro bits in the product is too harsh to be used daily, let alone to remove makeup anywhere near the eyes area. Ouch!!!
Secondly, the product is absolutely difficult to remove. Warm water and a washcloth do help but still leaves residue on skin and cloth. The cloth that came with the product was impossible to wash clean after a few sessions. I threw it into the washer. It just looked sad and ewwww… Even my hub thought the cloth looked too dirty to be used again. The product residue is impossible to remove from the cloth. It stained all of my wash cloth. Argh.
Finally, the packaging. Ok… Where should I start? Based on my experience, cleansing balms that are in this olive balmy consistency usually separates a little in our weather. Think organic peanut butter, the oil separates from the product after a while but completely safe to consume. Instruction usually says just use an utensil to stir to combine. This is exactly the case with this cleansing balm. I have no issue with the liquid and balm separation. The problem is the tube. I ended up squeezing out all the liquid when I first started using it, leaving the sticky thick balm still in the tube. In the end, the balm in the tube stuck the tube together!!!!! Hence you see why I had cut the tube into half to get the remaining balm out. However, by then, the balm is too dry to be used and it was impossible to move the product around on my face!!! What a waste!!
Repurchase? Unless they change it to tub packaging, else no!
Albion EXAGE Moist Crystal Milk
It took me a while to finish this bottle. Simply no time to massage in the product everyday. I tend to breakout if I don’t massage it in.
Repurchase? Not at the moment.
Nivea In-Shower Intensive Skin Conditioner
My review here.
innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum
A lightweight gel-like consistency serum that claims to moisturise and nourish the skin. The texture is very soothing, with refreshing green tea scent. It doesn’t leave a sticky feeling after application. Most importantly, I didn’t breakout. The downside is that I only bought a sample size, I didn’t use it long enough to feel result.
Repurchase? Yes, retail size, please!
innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream
A very lightweight cream, almost like a gel consistency. It claims to be an anti-oxidative cream made with green tea seeds for deep moisturization and nourishment. Like its serum, it has a refreshing green tea scent to it. It leaves a tiny little oily finish – that’s what I prefer for my facial creams.
Repurchase? Yes, retail size, please!
Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado Olive & Basil Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy
To be frank, I haven’t been using their hand creams for a long time. I find my nails peel alot when I use their hand creams daily. Sorry, C&E. This… This is the first tube in many years. The scent is so yummy! And this particular tube, its formula, IMO, slightly different from its shea butter range. This is oilier. I prefer an oilier hand cream in office. Love!
Repurchase? Yes! I think I still have a tube in my stash.
1028 TA Whitening Sunscreen SPF50+++
A brand from Taiwan. It’s gel-like consistency is definitely my favourite part of this product. I love how it spreads and how it’s not too oily. Great for weekends when I don’t stay in air-conditioned indoors all day.
Repurchase? Yes! But I can’t find it lately! I hope they didn’t discontinue the product!
Lavshuca Hand Figure Veil in Fairy Wood
A drugstore brand from Japan, but i bought this in Taiwan. A dusty musky scent. Very light and moisturising.
Percy & Reed Bountifully Bouncy Volumising Conditioner
Again one of favourite (seems like a lot of favourites in this empties post), read my review here.
Lactacyd Liquid pH3.5 Skin Cleansing and Protection
Body wash for my daughter as she too has sensitive skin. This is a little watery for my liking. Half the product on my palm went to the drain before I could even lather it on my skin. It doesn’t lather much, which I like, this means less harsh ingredient in it.
Yes To Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes
As the online community raves about this wipes, I’m not a huge fan. I find it stings a little on my skin, even though I only use it once in a long while. Not a fan. The only thing I like about it is that it’s very wet.
